The Annual Best Practices (LEEP) Summer Institute, Northwestern State University

Intensive training dates on NSU campus are June 12-16, 2000 from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. ( Note:  There will be no compressed video session for the 2000 institute.)

Undergraduate Class

• EDUC 1030: Seminar for Education Para-Professionals.  (Problem-oriented course for students employed as teacher aides.  Problems identified by teacher aides and their supervisors; group discussion, individual conferences, laboratory experiences.

For University credit: $306.25 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE). Partial or Full Tuition Scholarships are available on a first come basis.

LEEP activity fee of $15.00.

NOTE:  If you have never attended NSU you must apply for admission to NSU through the Graduate College. Call for admissions forms at 357-5851.

NSU dorm costs are $10.50 per night and Student Apartments are $15.00 per night. (Subject to change). Natchitoches offers fine "Bed and Breakfast" accommodations and a variety of motels. Accommodations for persons with disabilities are available
