Recently there has been a great debate on the use and implementation of using a microchip inserted in to the brain in order to store information, use for recall purposes, and bodily functionality. An experiment will be conducted this summer to examine the benefits there of via a chip that is not connected to any computer except for the brain.  

If indeed we view education in most instances as merely the memorization of information in order to use and utilize at a later date then are we truly learning, and if not then how could a chip that would allow us to store high volumes of information for later use not be a necessity for all school children and adults alike?
