For a long time I left it up to people's imagination as to where this
tattoo was, but people can have some pretty wild imaginations. The tattoo is on my left
ankle.
The tattoo is the symbol of one of my all-time favorite comic book characters, Shadowman. Shadowman was published by Valiant Comics with Bob Hall serving as writer and artist on the best run of the series. Currently, it is being published by Acclaim Entertainment who bought Valiant and re-worked their characters a while back. Shadowman is still one of their better books, but the real magic was in the original Bob Hall run. A Shadowman page is in the works.
I scanned the tattoo directly off my skin with a b&w hand-held scanner and that was a very hard thing to do (which is why it looks crooked but it's actually very straight and square). If you have a tattoo you want to put on your page, I suggest taking a good picture of it and then scanning the picture. It will come out a lot better.
