Heritage Education—Louisiana 2003-04 Mini Grants

Heritage Education - Louisiana awards grants for the development of innovative heritage education lessons and activities. The maximum of $2,500 per grant can be requested, and any Pre-K - 12 classroom teacher in Louisiana may apply. The lesson must be focused on a specific site in Louisiana, such as a historic structure, archeological site, or cultural landscape.

The Mini Grants projects for the 2003-03 school year will not only meet curriculum needs, but will also encourage appreciation of historic community resources while providing an exciting, hands-on experience for students.
